It has now rained more or less every day the last four weeks. In the last 30 days it has rained in 22 of them, in total over 200mm rainfall. This has made it very difficult to transport heavy equipment, because the forest road takes damage when we go up to the dome. So we are even more delayed than expected, but there is little we can do, we don’t want to totally destroy the road. The 10 day forecast is looking better, so we are crossing fingers for better weather next weekend.
Anyway, we did test the extra heater today and it worked perfectly. We can also start the heater remotely so that we don’t need to go up to the dome to fire it up. This means we can easily make it a bit more comfortable at arrival in the cold of the winter.
